THE PROTEIN CONCENTRATION
To obtain whey protein isolate (WPI), we use a whey protein concentrate in order to
subtract, by filtration, the majority of fat and lactose. This process results in a pure
protein, very less denatured,therefore rich in amino acids. The higher the percentage,
the higher the purity.
To calculate the concentration of a protein supplement (purity), here is the formula: Amount of grams of protein ÷ recommended serving x 100
