<p”>PROTEIN CONCENTRATION
In order to obtain a whey isolate (WPI), we use a whey protein concentrate and remove most of the fat and lactose from it by filtration. This process results in a pure protein, very little denatured therefore rich in amino acids. The higher the percentage, the more the protein is said to be pure. To calculate the concentration of a protein supplement (purity), the formula is as follows: Number of grams of protein ÷ recommended serving x 100.
